Incredible service, stunning lobby vibe.

I had a great time at the Ace Hotel in New York. The location is unbeatable. everything is within walking distance. The atmosphere in the lobby feels lively and inviting. The room was stylish and very clean, with an awesome shower that had fantastic pressure. It felt luxurious yet cozy. I loved the fun touches like a Martin guitar in the room and a turntable with albums to enjoy. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, there were some hiccups. The thermostat in my room malfunctioned, which was inconvenient. Checking in was a bit rocky as my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, despite being past check-in time. I had to wait longer than expected, which was frustrating. On top of that, I noticed some dusty areas behind the bed and oddities like brown water coming from the tap initially—though it cleared up eventually. It’s also worth mentioning that the coffee situation could be better. no machines in the room and I had to head outside for a morning caffeine fix before the coffee bar opened. Overall, the hostel vibe and the friendly staff made up for the inconveniences. I would still consider visiting again and hope for a better room next time.

The location proved to be ideal, with stunning views of a famous landmark right outside my window. I enjoyed delicious artisan bread during breakfast, but the building's age made for a few quirks, like slow elevators and somewhat gritty conditions in certain areas.

I absolutely loved that I was just a short walk from the breathtaking Bryant Park and only a 2.5 km stroll from the vibrant High Line, making it super easy to soak in the city vibes even on a quick weekend trip. this hotel offers a unique charm that's perfect for solo travelers like me who enjoy quirky aesthetics and a lively atmosphere, though I did find the noise levels from the street a bit bothersome at times.
